Destination wedding at Chateau de Ferrieres in Paris

destination wedding Paris wedding planner

After one year and a half of preparation and one postponement due to Covid, Erin and Michael celebrated their union in the wonderful Castle of Ferrières, near Paris. I had the pleasure to follow them as a Wedding Planner during the entire preparation of this very special day.

A sweet morning of August 28th, with their loved ones, the future married couple got ready, each in one of the beautiful rooms of the castle, to get ready for the magical day they were about to live.

Erin has been pampered by Jiyoung of Modern Bride, surrounded by her closest friends and family. Saya and Tuan came at this moment to capture those precious memories, they also took this opportunity to shoot the stationery, the groom and his best men.

During this time, my assistant and myself were joined by the florist Laura from Maison d’Autel and by Bougies Granulées, to set up the ceremony and the places for the cocktail and the dinner. We choose Option for the furniture rent. Fred and Ben the DJs also met us at that time to get ready for the event.

Once our two love birds were ready, we found the perfect place, on the top of stairs of the garden, to do the first look. It was a magical moment, full of love and emotion.

Then followed a photo shoot session with Erin and Michael, their families and close friends around the castle.

At 5pm, the guests arrived at the castle and came directly to the ceremony spot, in the little garden behind the castle. They were welcomed with champagne glasses before getting seated.

The ceremony was driven by one of the bride’s friend who prepared a touching and funny speech. It is in that wonderful landscape, surrounded by their loved one that Erin and Micheal said « yes » to each other, after sharing beautiful vows.

After the Ceremony, a photoshoot took place with all the guests, who could enjoy, at the end of it, a delightful cocktail and some amuse bouches.

After lots of love and laughs, the guests and the newlyweds took place on a magical table, filled with beautiful tableware, flowers and candles. On the menu : Foie Gras and Magret de Canard, everything to make everyone happy.

After the Main course, our two lovebirds went on the top stairs once again for their first dance, full of love and magic, surrounded by hundreds of candles! Following that moment, they went to one of the most beautiful rooms of the castle, where they discovered, and shared the wedding cake before setting the dance floor on fire all night.

It was a wonderful wedding, in an ideal place. I Thank once again all the vendors who helped me make that day so special and beautiful for them. Thanks again to you, Erin and Michael, for your trust, I wish you the very best and hope to see you soon.
